Frontend Software Engineer

Software Technology Group is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our team. The Frontend Engineer will need to have heavy experience and proficiency in JavaScript, React, NodeJS, and AngularJS. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bring new features to life by collaborating with internal teams, including UX and backend teams, to ensure product requirements are met
  • Participate in code reviews from other developers to ensure quality, stability, and overall architecture of our code base
  • Research and prototype to provide insight about potentially beneficial technologies and specific industry solutions.

Skills – Experience and Requirements

  • 5+ years of Front-end development experience
  • 5+ years of experience with HTML5, CSS, and Javascript
  • 3 + years of AngularJS, React, and Nodejs experience
  • Solid understanding of custom directives, services, and MVC design patterns.
  • Experience with contributing to a project using Git.
  • Ability to understand and then convey front-end development patterns and best practices.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to pick up new technologies quickly
  • A strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, design patterns, and software engineering principles
  • A positive and proactive attitude toward finding solutions, meeting commitments, and assisting others
  • A desire to work in a team environment to learn and to solve interesting and challenging problems

Education Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience.
