In this position, your primary responsibilities will revolve around ensuring the stability and functionality of the ServiceNow Platform. This entails tasks such as conducting application maintenance, overseeing support activities related to specific applications, and actively participating in software releases to introduce new features and improvements. A solid foundation in technical skills is essential, as it will empower you to efficiently carry out routine configuration and maintenance tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent research to assess the platform's capabilities and offer recommendations and solutions to meet business requirements.
- Oversee both production and non-production instances, including patching and upgrades.
- Estimate development efforts for various requirements.
- Showcase expertise in working with workflows, particularly in key areas of the ServiceNow platform like IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Security Operations (SecOps).
- Configure the ServiceNow system, encompassing tasks such as creating workflows, custom portal widgets, and form modals.
- Collaborate in establishing coding standards to ensure consistency.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science.
- A strong grasp of ServiceNow best practices.
- A proven track record in developing and managing ServiceNow systems, with at least 3 years of experience.
- Familiarity with working in accordance with agile, scrum, or SAFe principles.
- Advanced strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, coupled with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- ServiceNow System Administrator and Application Developer certification is desirable.
- Experience with MID server, web services (REST), email integration, and other relevant technologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory, SAML, and relevant IT architecture.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/GLIDE, HTML5, CSS, and relational databases such as MS SQL Server.
- Competent skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
